I have seen and spoken with Spirit people for as long as I can remember. As a small child, hiding under my bed sheets from my spirit ancestors, standing guard, whilst
trying to converse with me.
Family Blessings.
It is only now that I have learnt to truly appreciate my families connection to the Spirit world. Throughout my childhood, my paternal Grandparents would often go to evenings of Mediumship Demonstration, and being from London they would enthral me with stories of the well known Medium Joseph Benjamin from the 1960s and how accurate his readings were.
My Mum would tell of her friend who had objects moved around her kitchen by Spirit children. It is with fondness that I recall open discussions about dying, and how it was considered normal for my beloved Grandad Arthur to visit me at night, after he had passed to Spirit.
My Dads close friend was a Platform Medium and we would spend hours discussing the subject. At the age of 21 I began attending my local Spiritualist church, something I have continued for over 30 years.
Making connections with Spirit People.
My first job was as a Funeral Director in Hertfordshire, this role really made me question what happened to peoples hopes, dreams, fears and experiences once their earthly body was no longer in use.
I then went into healthcare, where I had the good fortune to meet the former president of my local Spiritualist church. Doris would give the most amazing guidance, and impart knowledge from the Spiritual Pioneers.
Personal Reading.
At the age of 24 I had a life changing personal reading at a charity event hosted by my dear friend Lillian. My amazing Nanny Vi came through a wonderful Medium, whom I had never met before. The evidence of survival after death she provided was unquestionable.
Career.
I then became a nurse, as I knew that I always wanted to help people and ease their suffering in any way that I could. I now use the empathy and understanding I learnt in my 25 year nursing career to bring messages of love and upliftment from friends and family in the Spirit world.
Presently.
I am a Member of The College of Psychic Studies, where I am currently studying Mediumship. I am building a Spiritual community in and around the beautiful North Cotswold Town of Moreton In Marsh.
